FSSAI Directs States to Enhance Food Safety Surveillance, Over 1.6 Lakh Samples Analyzed

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has instructed state food safety departments to intensify their surveillance and inspection activities. As part of these efforts, state food safety departments have conducted enforcement drives, leading to the analysis of over 1.6 lakh (160,000) food samples.
